Die Ivy-Trense besitzt ein englisch-kombiniertes Reithalfter. Dabei sind die Seitenriemen mit dem Nasenband durch einen Bogen fest vernäht. Zum einen werden hier die Nervenbahnen zur Maulspalte leicht entlastet zum anderen gibt der spezielle gebogene Schnitt mit Kontrastnähten und Dekostick ein schicken Look beim Reiten. Das Genickstück ist bei der Ivy deutlich breiter als bei herkömmlichen Genickstücken. Darüber hinaus ist es so anatomisch geschnitten, dass das Ohrenspiel des Pferdes nicht gestört werden kann. Nasenriemen und Genickstück sind weich gepolstert und schmiegen sich angenehm an die Konturen des Pferdekopfes an.
